Beaver Meadow Wildlife Conservation Area


Description: 89 hectares, half open water and marsh, remainder is meadow, mixed hardwoods and a seasonal creek bed.

Plants of note: Violets, Trillium, Larger Blue Iris, Cardinal Flower, Marsh Marigold, Greater Bladderwort. Wild Ginger, Southern Rice, many flowering shrubs including Highbush Cranberry and Maple Leaved Viburnum. Trees include Red Oak, Walnut, Butternut, White Pines and Beech.

Access: from Cty # 11, one kilometre west of Cty # 10.
