New York Fern

Thelypteris novaboracensis

Top image, the frond on the right is a mature fertile frond. Typically this fern main stem is fine and often reclining. Leaflets and stems are hairy as are the circular spore packages. Recognisable by its light green colour, thin yellowish stem, and distinct taper at top and bottom of the frond. Usually found in dense colonies.
