Evergreen Wood FernDryopteris intermedia
This fern is very similar to the Spinulose Wood Fern which is not green but light yellow brown after frost. Another difference is that, on the Evergreen Wood Fern, the first pair of leaflets nearest the center stem on the lowest leaves of the frond are usually shorter than or equal to the next set further out. On the Spinulose Wood Fern the first pair of leaflets are usually longer than the next set out.
