Vervain, Narrow Leaved

Verbena simplex

A more unusual version of the Blue Vervain. Leaves are coarsely toothed as the Blue Vervain but are narrow. Flower spikes are usually solitary. Occurs in large colonies where the unopened buds give a blue impression.
